Wow! This is weird. This is my first attempt at blogging. For all you blogging vets, please don't expect too much.
Anyway...the whole point of this site is to post some thoughts about some of my personal studies on my preaching journey. This series is all about "Seeing & Believing". The theme of light, and the accompanying theme of sight and vision is prominent. Then, what do we do with what we see in Jesus and what He decalres about Himself? It demands a response. Whether we agree or disagree with Jesus' words, we must respond in some way. Agree or disagree...accept or reject...believe or doubt...follow or turn away...
Like Paul, I resolve to know nothing but Jesus and him crucified (1 Cor.2:2). Let's engage with John as he leads us through his perspective of Jesus' life and teaching, and let's allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into an appropriate response from there.

A true leader must first follow the truth. You do this from the front line stepping out of your comfort zones, going after the dream he has given you, following him wherever he leads.
I will run with you to the front of the battle and stand shoulder to shoulder beside you no matter the odds, but knowing the outcome, planting stakes in the ground for an eternity...
